OceanWise who are hosting the Marine Measurement Forum (MMF) on the 11th of June are delighted to confirm a keynote speech from world renown marine explorer Mensun Bound.
Known as the ‘Indiana Jones of the Deep’, Mensun is a maritime archaeologist and “has been excavating, evaluating and recording shipwrecks for decades”.
His keynote speech entitled “The Quest to Find Endurance” will delve into his time as Director of Exploration for the project that found the Endurance, 10,000ft below the surface of the Weddell Sea. Something not to be missed!

The 68th MMF has a packed programme and is taking place on 11 June 2025 at the award-winning Hogs Back Brewery in Tongham, Surrey.
This one day, not-for-profit event, part of the long-running MMF series established in 1983, brings together marine professionals from across the UK and beyond to share the latest developments in marine science, technology and data.
